We’re excited to announce that GTN has a new couple joining our team, Dr. Jerry and Janet Pryor! Both Jerry and Janet were on staff at Overlake Christian Church in Seattle with Joel and Kathy Madson years ago.

The Pryor’s have had significant ministry experience throughout their lives. Jerry has had the opportunity to serve the Lord in three arenas of Christian ministry. He served as a Chaplain in the military (active duty for 3 years and in the Washington Army National Guard for 29 years), a hospital chaplain for 11 years, and a pastor in two churches for 9 years each. Jerry’s last pastoral position was at Overlake Christian Church in Redmond, Washington where he served as the team leader for the growth ministry. Janet was also on the pastoral staff as the adult education director. In addition, they served together providing ministry in marriage and parenting.

Jerry discovered God’s call on his life in Bible College when a missionary spoke in chapel and challenged the students to serve God in full time service. Preparing for that service took Jerry to Grace Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana where he received his Master of Divinity degree in 1973. He later earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon in 1986.

God has now called Jerry to a fourth arena of ministry to provide training, equipping and encouragement to pastors and leaders with GTN. Jerry and Janet were married in 1968 and have three grown children and 11 grandchildren, and currently live in Northern Kentucky, near Cincinnati.
